Rules On Examination And Promotions

The school year has two terms. April to September and October to March. There will be continues and comprehensive evaluation system for class I-X. School will conduct 4 formative (unit) and 2 summarize (terminal and final) tests in an academic year. Students performance will be assessed by giving marks which will be converting into nine point grades in every subject.

Parents / Guardians are requested to sign the test copies/papers and return them to the class teacher. Serious action will be taken if the marks / grades are tampered with.

There can be no anticipation or postponement of any test paper. When a student is ills he/she should not be sent to answer any test. In case of illness the final result will be settled on the basis of the years work.

Willful breach of any regulations for the conduct of an examination is punishable with expulsion from the examination or if subsequently discovered the cancellation of the answers script.

Answer scripts of every test are returned to the students except those of Final Examination. Promotions are made on the basis of 4 formative tests and 2 summative.

Results declared at the close of the years are final in all cases and will not be reconsidered.
